On October 14, Ukrainians celebrate four holidays at once. The first is Feast of the Intercession of the Mother of God; the second – Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks; the third holiday, relatively recent – Day of Defenders of Ukraine; the fourth is Day of Ecological Education. The people say: "Intercession covers the grass with leaves, the ground with snow, the water with ice…". And Mykolaiv Zoo on this day pleased the visitors with bright autumn photo sessions and thematic holiday excursions.
Today, tours of the zoo were conducted in an unusual way. First, they were conducted by real Ukrainian girls; secondly, the guides introduced visitors not only to the collection of animals and plants of our park, but also told that the planet that gave us life is unique and in need of care and protection. Also during the holiday tours, guests had the opportunity to take pictures against the backdrop of bright autumn landscapes. Not only excursion groups, but also all our visitors who visited the zoo at that time were able to take beautiful photos.
