Delicious desserts for primates

Recently our visitors could watch environmental enrichment at the primates department. Japanese macaques, weeper capuchins, chimps, siamangs were busy with searching for the hidden fodder. The aim was generating interest to the process. The chimps, as usual, were notable for sharp intellect and resourcefulness; the weeper capuchins accomplish a task also very quickly.
Their efforts were rewarded with lots of fresh fruit, chilled desserts, melons, apples baked with nuts and curd, as well as with ice-cream tarts.
The specialists creatively approach to the summer diet preparing and presenting, stimulating activities of the animals in captivity.
