Holly-leaved berberry blooms in the zoo - an unpretentious evergreen plant native to North America. This plant is also called Oregon grapes - its useful berries really resemble grapes and are used for wine production.

And, of course, the first days of May at the zoo are full of exuberant tulips of different shapes and colors!
