This evening, two Amur tiger cubs arrived at Mykolaiv Zoo; they were born at "Limpopo" Zoo in the Drohobych region. The little ones are only four and a half months old!
Our new residents don’t have names yet, so we invite you to help us choose! Please share your name suggestions for the little tigers in the comments. We look forward to your creative ideas!
This is a special occasion for Mykolaiv Zoo, as these cubs represent a new generation of Amur tigers that will continue the legacy of these majestic carnivores at our zoo.
And tomorrow, the little ones from "Limpopo" will be met with a reciprocal arrival – our puma cubs will be going to Drohobych!
Exchanging animals between zoos is a vital step toward the conservation and propagation of rare species.
So, we look forward to your suggestions! What should we name our tiger cubs?
