Perhaps some of our visitors have already had a chance to see the playful puma cubs –the offspring of our caring mother puma, Anda.
The cubs were born on February 23, 2026. There are four of them – two males and two females. Their mother, Anda, is a young puma born in 2021 who came to us from Rivne Zoo. The father of the cubs, Arman, was born at Mykolaiv Zoo in 2015 and is kept in a neighboring enclosure.
This is not Anda’s first litter. Some of our regular visitors may remember her first three cubs, born in 2024. Now, visitors to the zoo can also see Anda’s daughter, Amina.
The cubs are very active, lively, and playful. In addition to their mother’s milk, they have already started eating meat.
Anda is an extremely caring and attentive mother. She does not leave her cubs for a second – she feeds them, licks them clean, keeps them warm, plays with them, and protects them from any danger, sometimes even from those that exist only in her imagination. She even protects them from the zoo staff who take care of her!
Watching the behavior and playful antics of these four fluffy cubs is truly fascinating. Hurry to see them, as they grow quickly!
