New species - the leopard cat

Yesterday, a new species appeared in Mykolaiv Zoo – the leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) – a species of feline from the subfamily of Felinae. Leopard cats live in South and East Asia. Their size corresponds to the size of a domestic cat, and in their vast range they are found in various color variants. 1 male and 2 females arrived from “Limpopo” Zoo in exchange for 2 servals born in our zoo.
