Zoos in modern conditions are not separate isolated organizations. Zoos can fully perform their functions only in close mutual cooperation. Zoos of Europe and zoos of the world cooperate with each other. Most zoos of Ukraine are also united in the Association of Zoos of Ukraine (AZU). Zoo workers – members of the Association – closely cooperate with the aim of exchanging experience, regularly holding seminars on various topics. The Association of Zoos of Ukraine is engaged in the redistribution of funds received as aid. And, of course, zoos cooperate to exchange animals.

Today, on October 17, our young (three-year-old) Bactrian camel (Camelus bactrianus) named Zaurbek went to Odesa Biopark, which, by the way, recently joined AZU. The animal was transferred for rehousing for breeding purposes, because a "bride" named Kuzya is already waiting for our Zaurbek in the Biopark.
