On February 17, the Association of Zoos of Ukraine (AZU) held the first online seminar "Terrarium – as an integral part of a modern zoo". During the seminar, there were many interesting reports, highlighting the problems of modern terrariums, discussing the topics of maintenance, reproduction, veterinary issues, etc. Seven specialists from Mykolaiv Zoo took part in this seminar, head of the Aquaterrarium Department Alla Kotenko made a report on breeding and maintenance of ocellated lizards (Lacerta lepida). This seminar provided an opportunity for fruitful communication and exchange of experience among zoo specialists of the AZU members. The practice of conducting such seminars will enable the improvement of the qualification level of specialists, as well as solving issues of animal exchange.
