It turns out that whole meadows of blooming snowdrops can be found on the territory of Mykolaiv Zoo.

This flower is the heroine of legends and fairy tales. According to one of them, snowdrops arose from the tears of the first woman, Eve, who cried when she was expelled from Paradise. And where a teardrop fell on the cold, snowy ground, a delicate flower grew. Snowdrops, despite their fragility, can withstand fairly severe frosts. That is why they bloom first, being true harbingers of spring.

You can see meadows of blooming snowdrops in Mykolaiv Zoo on the slopes of the "Island of Animals", near the pond for koi carp, near the summer enclosure for chimpanzees. There are comfortable benches nearby, so you can relax there, looking at the true spring beauty.
