The column "Cozy corners of the zoo" continues to report on what beautiful flowering plants can be found on the territory of Mykolaiv Zoo right now.
The mass flowering of the Japanese kerria has begun. Covered with bright yellow "roses" (kerria is sometimes called "Japanese rose"), the bushes of this decorative plant can be seen near a pond with koi carp; a whole meadow of flowering kerria, as well as bushes of rhodotypos, can be found opposite the cougar enclosure.
And near the enclosure for elephants, you can now admire the blooming Niedzwetzky's apple, which is characterized by beautiful flowers of an unusual bright purple color. At all locations near these flowering plants, you can find comfortable benches and have a great rest.
