The column "Cozy corners of the zoo" informs that in addition to luxurious bushes of flowering tree peonies, right now in Mykolaiv Zoo you can see blooming yellowhorn or Chinese flowering chestnut, which gardeners consider to be one of the most decorative shrubs, bright yellow "waterfalls" of common laburnum or golden rain (these plants can be found on the lawn opposite the summer chimpanzee enclosure). Behind the enclosure for mountain ungulates ("Goat Hill") you can find luxurious large bushes of flowering hawthorn. Also, different varieties of lilacs are now blooming in the zoo, and horse chestnuts have already opened their "candles".
You can see all these beautiful flowers in our photos or by visiting the zoo. Don't delay, the flowering time is running out very quickly!
