January miracle in Mykolaiv Zoo!
Today, January 21, the first snowdrops (Galanthus) bloomed in Mykolaiv Zoo. Every year, zoo specialists keep a calendar of the flowering of all plants in the arboretum. A few years ago, a record early flowering of this plant was recorded, on January 29-30. This year, the flowering of snowdrops is observed much earlier than in previous years. So, right now is a good time to admire the magical spring flower.
You can see the first snowdrops in Mykolaiv Zoo near the chimpanzee summer enclosure, around the pond with koi carp and on the slopes of "Island of Animals".
