Today, a number of dental procedures were performed for our polar bear (Ursus maritimus) Smetanka.
Observing the behavior of Smetanka, the employees of the department of predatory animals noticed that she has problems with the oral cavity. The animal was immobilized and an examination of the oral cavity was carried out, during which purulent pulpitis of both canines of the lower jaw was revealed. During the surgical operation, the diseased teeth were removed.
Now the favorite of many of our guests, Smetanka, is feeling well.
