Today, October 1, Ukrainians celebrate three holidays at once. The first is the Feast of the Intercession of the Mother of God; the second is the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks; the third is the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. This is a holiday of continuity of heroic traditions of our people, strength of spirit and courage, devotion to the Motherland and pride for its military glory.
