Young biologists of Mykolaiv Zoo took part in the competition of ecological drawings "Let's save the Black Sea for posterity", devoted to Day of the Black Sea which is celebrated on October 31. The competition was organized by Tiligulsky Regional Landscape Park in conjunction with the National Ecological Center of Ukraine and the National University of Shipbuilding named after Admiral Makarov with the support of the Center for Environmental Information and Culture Branch No2 of the Central City Library named after M.L. Kropyvnytskyi. The purpose of the competition is to draw attention to the environmental problems of the Black Sea. In total more than 90 children of Mykolaiv and region took part in competition.
On December 22, 2021, the winners of the competition were awarded at the Center for Environmental Information and Culture. The participants and winners of the competition were greeted by employees of Tiligulsky Regional Landscape Park, National University of Shipbuilding named after Admiral Makarov, Kinburn NGO and they told the children about the problems of the Black Sea and the need for personal contribution to nature conservation.
The winners and participants of the competition received prizes and honorary diplomas.
