Today, our young biologists held the final lecture from the "Zoo from reserves" cycle.
The theme of this lecture-exhibition was the animals saved from the war – that is, the pets brought to us by people at the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022. Residents of Mykolaiv and Kherson evacuated, leaving for safe places, and were not always able to take their pets with them. Dozens of parrots, turtles, chinchillas and other animals were brought to the zoo at that time. Today, our visitors had the opportunity to communicate with these animals that currently live in Mykolaiv Zoo.
We hope that the project "Zoo from reserves", implemented in the zoo in July-August, was interesting for visitors and young biologists, who tried their hand at various professions – independently created posters and designed an information stand, advertised the exhibition in the role of animators, prepared animals for exhibitions and demonstrated them, held a lecture and made a photo report on the event.
