Today on the territory of Mykolaiv zoo there was a traditional ecological holiday – Earth Day. The main task of this event is to draw the attention of Earth inhabitants to the problem of preserving life on our planet. For this many years, an alarm signal from the alarm clock sounds from the zoo's stage for many years. "People, it is in people's power to influence and to solve the environmental problems!" – we are trying to convey this information to everyone. And to make this holiday not only useful, but also fun and interesting helped our old and new friends and partners. In the program of the festival took part: Dance Theater "Rhythms of the Planet", dance groups "Edelweiss" and "Caramel" of the House of creativity of children and youth of the Ingul district, vocalist Rina Blum, student of Mykolaiv College of Culture and Arts, City Structure of Young Naturalists and students of the Program of Small Access Scholarships of State US Department. Charming announcers of the concert are also students of the College of Culture and Arts. An entertainment program for kids was held by the animator of the children's entertainment center Joy land.
Also today Nikolayev zoo was visited by honored guests – winners, laureates of the XXII International School Media Contest, which has been held in Nikolaev for twenty-two years. The contest was attended by children from 13 countries of the world. In addition to young journalists from all regions of Ukraine, guests came from Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova, Spain, Poland, Greece, Georgia, Senegal, Pakistan and other countries. Nikolaev zoo is one of the tourist attractions of the city, where it is always interesting for young correspondents, even those who have repeatedly participated in this competition.
