To mark World Animal Day, celebrated on 4 October, the educational police of Mykolaiv, together with schools across our city, organized a real celebration and visited the zoo with treats for our animal residents.
The children, accompanied by police officers, brought tasty gifts for the animals and took part in special feeding sessions featuring some of the zoo’s residents – payful monkeys and majestic elephants.
We sincerely thank the educational police for this wonderful initiative and for helping to foster a caring attitude towards nature among young people. Special thanks go to the students, parents and teaching staff of the schools that took part in this charitable campaign: Oleh Olzhych School, as well as Schools No. 11, 20, 22, 31, 34, 36, 40, 46, 55, 56, 57 and 64.
Thank you to everyone who opened their hearts to help! Together, we are learning the values of kindness, care and responsibility for those who have been entrusted to our care.
