On June 12, the annual traditional art practice of pupils of Mykolaiv Art School, which lasted for two weeks, ended at Mykolaiv Zoo. All participants, about 200 young masters, demonstrated their abilities and talents and had a good time at the zoo. According to the class teacher Yevdokimova I.V.: “Mykolaiv Art School in the person of pupils and all pedagogical team, are very grateful to Topchy V.M., for the given unique opportunity to work with animals of the zoo. Everyone knows that Mykolaiv Zoo is the best in Ukraine and abroad. It is very important for the young artist to observe animals, to study their habits in the natural environment, and Mykolaiv Zoo provides such opportunity. The animals here are happy, it is clear that they feel comfortable. Children love this practice very much, they come out of it with a lot of work, positivity and inspiration. After that, we organize exhibitions, where we award the best children with diplomas. We dream of coming here next year”.
Young artists liked our animals so much that when they needed rest and energy, they played games copying their favorite zoo animals.
Children always see the world in a special way, so during the drawing they not only dream and fantasize, but also sincerely believe in miracles and fairy tales, radiate only positivity and love for the animal world in which they plunge, coming to our zoo.
