Vasya, the oldest crocodile, died

We have sad news. Our American alligator Vasya died this morning. It was the oldest animal in our zoo and among zoos in Ukraine. He arrived at our zoo in 1952 as a 2-3-year-old crocodile cub. He lived in the zoo for 71 years. We do not know his exact age. But he is about 75 years old. Many residents of Mykolaiv remember him from childhood. This is a great loss for the zoo.
