“Hello, colorful summer!” was the name of the festive program organized by the Sh. Kober and V. Khomenko Central City Library for Children, in which Mykolaiv Zoo also took part. A festive concert, fun games, interactive stations presented by the Patrol Police, the State Emergency Service, and the Red Cross, as well as a performance by the puppet theater actors – all of this was greatly enjoyed by the young participants of the event.
Our petting zoo was no less popular among children (and even adults!): a playful rabbit, a fluffy guinea pig, and a gentle chinchilla delighted visitors. Even the “non-fluffy” exotic animals – Madagascar hissing cockroaches and giant African land snails – attracted a lot of attention from the audience.

We would also like to take this opportunity to announce that, starting from June 7, events of the joint project between Mykolaiv Zoo and the Central City Library for Children will be held twice a month at the zoo. During these events, visitors will be able to participate in interactive programs, attend workshops, and explore book exhibitions.
