Today, October 29, 2021, 100 tree saplings and 100 rose bushes were planted on the territory of the zoo. These saplings were donated to us by an old friend and sponsor of the zoo, a deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council of the 8th convocation Nadiya Valeriyivna Ivanova (director of the “Golden Ear” LLC). Nadiya Valeriyivna has been giving us not only rose seedlings and other ornamental crops for many years, but also provides straw and grain fodder for the needs of the zoo.
Employees of the zoo, volunteers, young biologists of Mykolaiv Zoo with their parents and many others with observance of social distance and a mask regime took part in the action.
