Today, April 22, the whole world celebrates International Earth Day. Mykolaiv Zoo actively participated in this ecological holiday. Everyone could take part in a fun and informative costume quest, which ended with a lecture dedicated to Earth Day.

At the lecture, the listeners learned a lot of information about the traditions of celebrating this day. We learned about the Bell of Peace, which rings in different countries, calling the people of the Earth to feel the global community and make efforts to protect peace on the planet and preserve the beauty and wealth of our common home. Of course, we couldn't help but join this tradition and, together with the visitors, recreated the Bell of Peace in Mykolaiv Zoo.

At the end of the celebration, everyone could receive prizes for participating in the quest and lectures, but for this the children had to answer the lecturer's questions based on the knowledge they had learned. On this day and time, each of us is united by one common desire – Peace on our earth, so join the celebration of this holiday wherever you are.
