Our children grow up during the war – this is a terrible reality today. They hide during air raids, hear explosions, worry about their loved ones, and are unable to study properly. But they will not have another childhood. And the task of adults is to make sure that children feel all the wonders of childhood even now!
Mykolaiv Zoo gives children vivid impressions of communicating with nature every day. But today, on Day of protection of children, our little visitors had even more festive impressions!
Entrance for children to Mykolaiv Zoo is free today. And we have also prepared many pleasant surprises for them, because a variety of activities await the children today.
Mykola Leontovych Square was buzzing and interesting from the very morning – volunteers of the International Humanitarian Organization Norwegian People's Aid worked there, who conducted a training to inform the population about the risks associated with mines and explosive remnants of war.
An interesting entertainment program was conducted by the volunteers of the Public organization "MakanD". The children played with the cheerful Patron Dog and received tasty gifts. And then for our little guests, young students and employees of the Palace of Creativity of Mykolaiv City Students held a bright concert and game program "Be a friend to nature". A lecture of our educational project "Zoo to the touch" was also organized for visitors, which young biologists of Mykolaiv Zoo helped to conduct.
The honored guest of the holiday was the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, who brought a large refrigerator full of ice cream for the children and personally distributed it to our little guests.
Did you like today's day at Mykolaiv Zoo?!
