The column "A kaleidoscope of incredible beauty" continues its story about the plants of our arboretum.
Irises bloomed in the zoo. Beautiful flowers of all the colors of the rainbow (which is how the name of the plant translates) can be seen near the enclosures for necrophagous birds, as well as near the enclosure for coatis. According to legend, irises appeared from small fragments of a multi-colored rainbow that fell to the ground. The color range of these flowers is really impressive, because here you can find violet and cornflower blue, white and apricot-orange, yellow and maroon irises!
And a little further from the iris meadow, near the enclosures for servals and caracals, you can now find real blooming pink-lilac clouds of eastern redbud. These trees are now in full bloom!
Lilacs are also blooming in the zoo now. Chinese quince has started to bloom its bright orange-peach flowers. Near the enclosures for wolves, you can find flowering bushes of yellowhorn, which gardeners consider one of the most beautiful decorative shrubs. Fragrant, delicate lilies of the valley began to bloom in many of the zoo's flowerbeds. The zoo simply plunged into a riot of colors and aromas!
